Cathcart Colquhoun | Shakespeare's Peddler
Designer's note: "Cathcart Colquhoun 1785" is another sampler in my collection. It's in remarkably great shape for being as old as it is. To me, this one has a "Stacy Nash" feel to it (I think it's the colors and motifs.) This one has eyelets and four-sided stitch, and NO over-one. I know people are going to be stumbling over the name, which appeared to be gibberish to me. Cathcart mis-spelled her name as "Carhcart." The last name, "Colquhoun" is most likely pronounced "kuh-hoon." The stitcher's first and last names indicate she was most likely Scottish.

Multiple orders will be shipped together whenever possible and any shipping overages will be refunded to you.
