Mandrake - Perennial Potions #2 | Darling & Whimsy Designs
The second in a series titled Perennial Potions. These are inspired by the various medicinal and pharmaceutical artifacts in the museum I work at.
Historically, Mandrake Root was used to help treat stomach ulcers, colic, constipation, asthma, hay fever, rheumatism pain, and whooping cough.
This cross stitch design features an old apothecary bottle with the Belladonna plant sprouting from the mouth of the bottle.

Model stitched 2 over 2 on 32 ct Heritage lugana by Picture This Plus using DMC, Classic Colorworks, and Weeks Dye Works threads.
