The shop website shows everything that is currently in stock or en-route (i.e. pre-order items that have been confirmed with the supplier and are on their way to the shop).

Can't find what you're looking for? Many charts can be special ordered for you, as well as fabric or floss if you're kitting up a new project. Send me a message if you're looking for something specific and I'll see what I can do!

Items that have just been released, but are not yet physically in stock are listed as "pre-order". These highly-anticipated new releases (such as a new chart from a popular designer, the next pattern in a series, a special magazine edition, limited edition kits, new hand-dyed fabrics, or Nashville Market releases) are offered for pre-order so that you can place your order, then sit back and relax, knowing that your stitchy goodies are safely reserved for you.

All pre-order items will be shipped as soon as possible once they arrive to the TopKnot Shop - the item listing will include an estimated shipping date. If you place multiple pre-orders (i.e. during Nashville Market season), I will combine and refund shipping whenever possible.

Please note, if your order contains both pre-order and in-stock items, your entire order will be held and shipped once everything is in stock. If there is an unforeseen issue that causes a big delay, your order may ship in multiple packages and I will reach out with an updated shipping estimate.

Not necessarily! Almost all items that are originally listed as pre-order will be available from the shop in the future... however there is no guarentee when (or if) those items will be restocked if they sell out.

Placing a pre-order is a great way to ensure that you don't miss out on a favorite new release (and it also helps me as your stitchy shop curator to know what to stock!). Pre-orders are a huge help and I do a happy dance every time they come in!

Short answer - yes, probably!

Longer answer - Certain colors of overdyed-threads and fabrics can sometimes get backordered for quite a while due to supply chains. While I strive to keep my thread and fabric inventory well-stocked, it can be challenging to anticipate supply and demand. Feel free to message me to get updates on certain colors and I'll do my best to provide an ETA. I'm also happy to suggest alternate fabrics or even point you in the direction of another shop that has what you need in stock.

Multiple orders will be combined and shipped together whenever possible, with the shipping overages refunded. Depending on the volume of orders at the time, this may or may not be doable (I'm a one-woman, one-cat operation!), but I will try my best!
