Designer's note: It's time to start welcoming the change of season and, after the sweltering heat of the summer, I'm ready for some cozy sweater and soup weather.
The pattern includes the chart for the flat finish as well as the coordinating biscornu. There's also a full photo biscornu basics finishing guide link inside.
Both pieces were stiched on 36 count Oatmeal by Fiber on a Whim using one strand of floss over two fabric threads. The called for floss includes five Classic Colorworks and two Weeks Dye Works cotton overdyed threads with a full DMC conversion.
The flat piece is finished on an Everything Board from Chantelle's 141 Design Company that I covered with a bit of chalk paint and offset the stitch with a mat board wrapped in a coordinating fabric from Riley Blake.
