The Unicorn's Garden cross stitch pattern is my take on the Unicorn Rests in a Garden, a medieval tapestry from the Unicorn Tapestries series of the late 15th and early 16th centuries. In my version, the Unicorn has not been captured and is free to come and goes as she pleases, blessing the garden with an abundance of flowers. A medieval inspired English alphabet (uppercase) is included to customize the initials and the year. The model is stitched 2 over 2 on 28 count "Lyrebird Dell" linen from Fox and Rabbit using the called for supplies.
151 stitches wide x 194 stitches high (approx. 11 inches wide by 14 inches high on 14 count fabric)
