Designer’s note: I designed this piece last July when we knew my mother-in-law’s days were few. My daughter showed me a "mourning stone," a sculpture from Colonial Pennsylvania, and I was inspired to create this design. It is my tribute to the loving, caring woman my mother-in-law was. We often find solace in our needlework, and I hope this design brings you that same sense of peace.
