Designer’s note – One of the earliest signs of spring is the sight of daffodils shooting up from the ground. When I see them, I know that the cold and darkness of winter is nearly behind me, and the arrival of beautiful flowers in all colors is just around the corner. During an early spring walk, I came upon a field of daffodils, and I knew what my next "repeating motif" design needed to be. This series focuses on a single motif stitched repeatedly, but with careful placement of thread colors, a floral image emerges.
