Sarah’s little sampler is a joyful depiction of flora & fauna. She used a combination of cotton, fine wool, and silk threads. Her design is worked almost entirely in cross stitch with the exception of the satin stitches she used in the floral border. The satin stitches can easily be worked in cross stitch if you prefer.
Stitched on 36 count Lakeside Linen’s Vintage Light Examplar with Weeks Dye Works, The Gentle Art, and DMC threads.
