Inspired by the geometric symmetrical designs that have been decorating thresholds in India for centuries. The rangoli represents the happiness, positivity and liveliness of a household, and is intended to welcome the goddess of wealth and good luck. Unlike the Indian folk art counterparts made with powdered stone, rice, or sand and are swept up at the end of a day, this stitched tribute will last to be passed down as an heirloom. The model was stitched with two colors of Threadworx Cotton (1033 and 2 skeins of 10422) on hand-dyed 282 count Parchment linen from Atomic Ranch Fabrics. The design is 145 stitches square.
Orders are typically shipped within 2 business days unless otherwise specified in the shop announcements or item description. If your order contains any pre-order items, your order will be held until all items are ready to ship. Consider placing separate orders if you would like to receive your in-stock items sooner. Multiple orders will be shipped together whenever possible and any shipping overages will be refunded to you.
At this time, shipping is only available for US and Canada. I ship primarily via USPS from Northern California.
